Time To Get Back On The Lake!
Business Spotlight - Race City Marine
With warmer weather on its way, the time to enjoy lake life is just around the corner (if you have missed anytime at all). This past month was the Mid Atlantic Boat Show in Charlotte and If the boat show showed us anything, it was that inventory is extremely low from previous years. Even those opting for used boats may find a difficult buying season for your lake toys this year. You may have noticed that Race City Marine was absent this year, opting for their own private show at their brand new dealership location on Hwy 150 in Mooresville. It was a great turnout and so enjoyable to speak directly with the Chris-Craft representative. That's right, in case you missed it, Race City Marine is now a Chris-Craft dealer. They have some beauties in the showroom, but this is a winner for me (or for my other half actually). Not only is Race City marine, an excellent choice for a boat purchase or service, but they have a heart of gold and firming believe in giving back to the community. This year they gave an amazing contribution to support our charity to raise funds for sex trafficking awareness through our Light Up The Night 5K. We hope that you can show your support as well and give them a visit soon! Make sure that you mention that Carla from Titan Realty sent you!!! They will be at the 5K race and I'm sure have some amazing boats to show as well.
They are located at 1192 RIVER HIGHWAY, MOORESVILLE, NC

Restaurant Review - Milkbread Cafe
Well, after a few missed attempts, I was finally able to enjoy visiting the newest Davidson addition, Milkbread Cafe. I'll admit, at first the idea of driving to Davidson for another great restaurant gave me pause (please come to Mooresville), but the convenient location directly off I-77 put my fears to rest that I will be able to grab a delicious treat easily! First, it is such a cute and bright atmosphere. Even sitting outside was super pleasant despite the road side table location. Our purpose was strictly to try the donuts and coffee this time, and they did not disappoint. That same great dough used to make our favorite Kindred Bread (Same Owners as Kindred) is the base of this delicious treat. Don't worry, you won't be overwhelmed with choices because there are only two donut flavors, chocolate and original glaze. Personally, I am the chocolate fan. The original glaze had a hint of a cinnamon that is less of my personal jam. The oat milk latte was the perfect partner. My daughter and I both tried the avocado toast and were less of a fan. I think it's just a matter of personal preference though. The ingredients seemed perfectly fresh and there was more than enough to share with one order, but a bit too much on the toppings for us. I can't wait to go back again and try the chicken sandwich that has so many raving fans. If your heading down, make sure to invite me 😊 or at least let me know what to order next!

This little gem of mine....
Davidson Nature Preserve
Perched just behind Davidson Day school is a lovely little nature trail, perfect for helping the kids run some energy off, a quiet place to recharge or simply a convenient spot to work off the donut that you just ate at Milkbread Cafe! Its a quick flat trail bordering around Lake Davidson, with plenty of shade and a lovely lake view. Many of the plants and trees have name plates, so I can't wait to go again once things have began to bloom. While the entire trail is around .56 miles, at about the 900 ft range there is a kayak access point if you're interested in getting on the lake! The entrance on Jetton Street is clearly marked behind the Davidson Day athletic field and at the base of the trail is a playground for some extra enjoyment.
